some US issues on which I guess I have a different opinion

- so-called "women trafficking", by which the hypocrites mean prostitution, even when there's no trafficking and no pimps; where's freedom?
- fear of porn; in Vienna pretty nude pictures in large size are posted and everybody smiles; what's wrong with America?
- so-called child porn, even in the form of drawings; what is it? what children suffer from it? I believe it's just another taliban;
- ban on alcohol visibility - how come in Europe one can sit and drink wine or beer, e.g. in a park, and nobody cares - but here in US, omg, a glass of wine, what if kids see it?
- ridiculously high age limits on tobacco and alcohol; say, in Vienna kids under 14 can't buy cigarettes, but after that - feel free to enjoy
- pot criminalization; I hope this stupidity will be overcome rather soon
- ban, in California, on serving cheese with wine in wineries (I know, there's a biological reason, but well... how about restaurants?)
- kids virtually locked home because of all those hypothetical kidnappers; in Vienna, a 7-year-old can go use U-Bahn and travel where he or she likes; here in US they are kept inside and never let to go anywhere (except, ok, maybe to school)

oh well
