Не нашел нигде, как изменялся баланс кислорода на планете за последние, хм, 100 лет. На вики пишут, что его 21%.

Мне нравится очень этот сильный полемический прием. "period" Все доказано, все скзано. лучше все же "dixi".
Проблема же не только в сжигании топлива, а в уменьшении площади лесов (в два раза за последние 10 000 лет) и количества фитопланктона в океане (30 процентов за последни 30 лет)

А что леса-то? Они же не лёгкие планеты. Пампасы - лёгкие планеты.

Насчёт фитопланктона - очень странно. Казалось бы, есть углекислый газ, давай, фотосинтезируй.

Sure, but even with deforestation and phytoplankton decrease (and ballooning populations of oxygen- breathing humans and livestock) we are still not about to run out of oxygen.

Most of the oxygen is lost to carbon oxidation, so its depletion is roughly equal to increases in carbon dioxide (roughly because some of the CO2 is absorbed and released by oceans/bogs etc.). Therefore oxygen depletion for the last century should be at most about 0.01% - we are not about to run out.
