Katia про Ющенко на Курощине
Feb. 23rd, 2005 06:05 pm Having been officially appointed President and inaugurated on January 23rd, Viktor Yushchenko did not wait long before taking dramatic political, social and economic action. His first steps as President included drafting several internal decrees, meeting with numerous international officials, including a US congressional delegation, and appointing his official “team members” and ministers. The President's words that “all governmental steps will be towards partnership with the West” have really proved truthful even in the first month of his official presidency.
The opposition claims that Yushchenko is an agent for the West, looking to sell Ukraine on a silver-rimmed saucer to Europe and the US, hence his NATO, WTO and EU-oriented goals and strategies.
