random letter # 1
Mar. 16th, 2005 06:09 pmDear Jane,
I missed you much... Recently I got an e-mail offering to start using voice mail; I read it, but still could not get how to talk through computer. Oops.
How was your Christmas? My daughter is asking about you every day. Sarah had recently reminded me again about a guy from Georgia that asked for my photograph; he wants me to live with him. His wife is somewhere down south, and two years ago Sarah had already talked to me about him. Now again.
George still cannot forget about us; he, and, independently, his mother, had sent us Christmas presents, and some money too. We accepted them, and we'll probably have to pay back... this summer. My mom is sad about it; I am worried.
I was recently transferred to another project, something with Australian sheep: my boss is finishing his PhD about the sheep. If I had enough money, I could get my PhD too in a couple of years.
Otherwise, no change. The weather here is horrible as always: too warm, no snow at all, strong winds all the time, and the first flowers showed up in the parks already.
I'll try to check my email more often.
Love,
Valery
