Last night got an enigmatic call from Ken in grisearch.com; I had no clue what it was about; and I got a mail from him saying that it is highly confidential.
So I called him this morning. Turned out another bunch of desperate Stanford graduates are having some kind of "startup" to sell tickets online, and they are looking for cheap idiots to work for them. Yeah... Stanford emits every years a bunch of greedy, jealous, arrogant, half-competent youths that think the next step is to become a billionaire, whatever the cost.
I told the guy I am not interested in online ticket sales, or any kind of company that does sales or ads or financial stuff. And you know what. He started telling me how there are so many people like you on the market, and if I am interested in getting any job, I have to agree to any job. I tried to tell him I am not interested, but he was insulted by me trying to interrupt him. So I told him I'm not going to deal with grisearch ever and hung up. Now I'm getting an email from him, telling me that it is for my own good, etc...
So, recruiters are now, what, going hungry? Not all, actually. I hope the one that got me here where I am now will get his payment he duly deserved. Won't disclose his name unless he agrees... but seems like it's time to set up a site called recruiterrating.com or something like that.
