The Weapon Shop of Isher

So, he has something like mobile phones, but what impressed me most is how one of his heroes, visiting an office, hacks, wirelessly, into the local network, and searches their files for keywords. Unfortunately, the word "grep" was not used.
There's a lot more, of course; but we don't recognize things we don't have yet.
Anyway, impressed.
