Are you interested in Software Development Engineer positions with Amazon?

I am hiring for an engineering org within Amazon that builds tools to enable fast-moving businesses to make use of data at high transaction rates and with low latency.

Thank you; I'm really not moving anywhere, we are pretty good right here, with all the community connections and responsibilities.

 

Also, seems like you are offering me a position of a regular software engineer. I wonder why. Can you answer? What is it with my e.g. linkedin profile that you guys think I'll be ok in a position of just another engineer?

 

There are lots of jobs here for good software professionals. Can you tell me why anybody would go over there from here? The general idea sounds weird to me. Except for one exception, one can't buy a house here, so they try to get something over there.

 

So, I'd appreciate your response.
