в или на, en français

 For feminine countries or masculine countries starting with a vowel, we use en to say "in" a country: en France, en Irak.  For all other masculine countries, we use au: au Maroc (in Morocco).  Plural countries like les États-Unis use aux: aux États-Unis (in the United States).
