 It was complicated. See, it's 21:22, and I've just closed my work computer.

First, I'm on pager duty, and a bunch of alarms were coming. Like, Kafka unable to send data to some service.
Eventually Chris asked me if I'm going to take care of it.

Ok, ok. With Chris's help, eventually I went to hadoop, killed a couple of tasks, then in Jenkins launched them, etc. It works now. Also, documented my actions.

See, it was supposed to be Karen, but Karen is sick, so there.

The rest of the day I was struggling with integration tests that were written god knows when, and never dropped the databases they were creating. It did take me some time to properly code it. To drop a database, it's better to do it via command line. So I did. Oh, whatever. The biggest problem was, some shit was keeping connection open. More than one. So first I had to make sure all those connections are closed. Oh, whatever.

What else? Wrote to Renato that I won't be able to finish it by the end of the day tomorrow, and I'll need a couple more days.

That's it. I would not say it's not fun. Curious. The things are getting simpler and simpler. Oh, whatever.
