Yesterday Renato came up with two jira cases where we replace "upsert" with "update" and "insert" endpoints, the first one via PUT, and the second via POST.
Cool, so I started with the first one, and decided, ok, let me first make the integration test really run the app (and then, in parallel, ping it with requests).
It turned out that I need a sophisticated configuration to run this shit locally, not in kube. But, thank God, the Ancestors wrote a very good exception message, just telling me what I do wrong when running it locally. Oh, I miss those people that left. Anyway, so I did, and the service started running locally, but I still need to tweak some stuff to catch my
Then we had a meeting, and then another and then another. The last one was just an entertainment, a trivia where we were supposed to answer questions, a mix of smart and stupid ones. Like, how many languages (scripts actually) have LTR (12). How many countries have shilling as a currency (4). When was Berlin wall destroyed. Chris said: 1964. You wish. Oh, how I remember November of 1989. Winds of change. We were really really lucky to have lived through those times.

IRL, I just don't fucking care. Because I know what real science is, and all this shit that we are dealing with is so low, so much below the shining snows of Math mountains, that it's not worth serious discussion, just an amusement. Btw, I guess John de Goes has a similar view of things, he's a Mathematician by education too. As Дуся once said, we are arrogant people from SPb. Well...
