Not much today.
Experimented with this transition to Scala 2.12; it turned out that our "playpal" library was totally reworked for 2.12, and as a result, I'll have to make tons of changes in oauth. Which is, I'd say, pretty scary. Of course we have enough tetsts, but...
I view it as some kind of Revenge of the Nerds. They created weird software, and left. Now what. And what exactly is there? Just a web server, a regular node for microservices. Why not keep it simple? Why not move it to ZIO? Have to talk to Jacob.
Or just port the "playpal" lib from 2.11 to 2.12, and make it work, and not bother about the shit they wrote.
I ws supposed to talk with Jacob at 11, but he moved it to 3pm, then connected shortly and told me that they had spilled a gallon of muriatic acid in the pool, so he has to take care. Baking soda will help, I guess. One gallon is not much of a deal for my pool, but he probably has a much smaller one. So there.
Okay, will talk Monday.
