 Had three meetings today. And worked on the two pieces that I'm working on.

One is - a 'design doc' regarding the import shit I'm going to do. Before that discussed it with Raghav, we agreed on an obvious thing: new endpoints will be accepting bulk data, the old endpoint, I'll try to make it flexible, but if now, I'll create one more. No changes in API! Ever!

Also, someone from the client side complained about HTTP 500 being received when he sends a station name instead of station id. He figured that on one hand, it's his mistake, but I told him 500 is not the right code; and I tried another trick, and it was returning 404 instead of 400.

So I created a Jira case, for the second half of August. No rush, right?

Then there was a "planning meeting", after which I was totally confused. Is it so that I'm supposed to do what I just want to do? (That's what I do.) I'll have to create a couple of Jira case (ok, not a couple, but five) for the future dev, but so far this upgrade to Scala 2.12 is what somehow is viewed as important. Ok, it is. It dragged for over 5 years.

The next meeting was about sprint postmortem. And strangely they asked me to give details about this Scala Play shit that made our services stay so behind. And I explained to them what t.f. was going on, and how I want to eliminate this kind of blockers, and do it pretty soon.

Another complaint of mine was about random meetings. Switching the context is kind of hard. So Jacob suggested to have meetings back-to-back, and leave developers tons of continuous time to do the real work.

After all that I was kind of exhausted, but after the pool I eventually got back to normal, and managed to have all that code (the transitioning one) compile, and most of the tests to pas. Except for three tests, which I'll fix tomorrow.

BTW, the PR is about 50 files. Before sending it for review, I'll ask the people, do they prefer me to split it into 4 chunks, or not. Have a vote.

Anyway, I happily closed my work computer after all that. Mission not exactly accomplished, but remember G.W.Bush? (A nice guy, by the way, was not he?)
