Ok, managed to merge the updates for build.sbt (no shit, just one file, and is "not validated" by the "style check". And I can't disable checking it (then the checker complains).
But still, Qian does not like the idea of having a class called Dbg, with memory logging. He said I should keep it in git stash. He generally does not look like an idiot, but probably, partially, he is. He does not control his jealosy.
Still, could not do anything with configs for prod for that project. Basically, I did not even have to do anything with the code. Just update jvm params in those config files. And you know what? The "build" for config files fails. It fails on ammonite being unable to find coursier. Asked (carefully) on slack whether anybody had that problem. Howard from Caracas says: same here, I had to take Ammonite v.1.6.8 - the newer versions fail.
Fucking nice, our software have outlived Haoyi's software. (Haoyi is the son of that famous Singapore president.) Haoyi, of course, does not keep that ancient version. So it's nowhere to be found. My options: 1) manually generate the files - no big deal, been there; 2) convert those "Scala scripts" into regular Scala programs and not depend on Haoyi's life path (he is in Databricks now, I believe - or gone; it was me who advised him to go there, not to Salesforce). I guess I'll do both.
So, I was totally exhausted by the end of the day, by hardly having anything achieved. Oh, btw, I'm on pager duty. The best time for it is the weekend. No customer support calls. Why? No clue.
