Меня записали в путинисты Точнее, "нравственно приравняли к"..

Записывали меня в антисемиты, в жидовские морды, в гебисты (в гебисты меня записывал Лукьяненко).  Но в путинисты - это ново, конечно.

I started this day by sending Brad a pull request. By the end of the day Brad responded, saying that this can be made shorter. It sure can, but it won't be testable. OTOH, we could agree on anything. It's not my pay level, to do my best for this company. I have other things to do, too. 

And I also slapped together and sent another test. I need to first ask Mark what he meant. Communicating with Mark is easy: he adds details, I implement it.

While all that was pending, I went shopping, Went to Action to buy a shoe brush. Already went to a couple of stores before, looking for one. None found. Now Action. Action seems to have everything. But I could not find the brush. Asked them; they pointed me the isle. None.

Well, okay, whatever. Then went to Lidl. Bought bread, blueberries, sour cream, tomatoes, potatoes. My wife did promise me how to make it the best way, but we are in different timezones now. I can boil potatoes, I can cut them and fry. But I'm just too lazy today.

Then I worked again. Called my sone meanwhile, talked to him and his funny daughter. She was dancing a dance of a hungry fish. She's a smart girl, but she does not have much to do.

Oh, and back to Scala and Cats library. It's programmers are kind of crazy. One of them wrote a class called CIString ("case-insenstive string"). It's feature is that it has equality defined as case-insensitive equals, but the function takes another CIString, and can return different values, depending on what's inside (even if the values are case-insensitively equal). You got it, right? It's like defining a "field of numbers mod 5" where values hiding in those equivalence classes may be different, not numbers mod 5. I wonder if these guys ever learned anything at school. And of course this CIString does not care about the locale - they seem to have never heard of Turkish locale, although there are definitely Turkish Scala programmers. Weird, weird.

Talked with Esteban about Scala Cats, and he has the same opinion that ZIO makes way more sense. And besides, ZIO has a future, and Cats don't, because Daniel ran away to Nvidia, and this crazy Travis ran somewhere too... just checked his profile, he has no education. Master of Arts from UTexas, "English language, Literature/Letters". Well, he can write slanderous letters, we all know that.

Scala people seem not to understand that Cats is done with, in the perspective. What does it give to John de Goes, it's not clear yet. And in general, my predictions don't come true more often than they do.
