At last, got approvals on half of my pull requests, from my kind colleagues. By the end of the day I got another half approved. Not bad! I entertain them, they approve my code. Nobody gets offended by my sarcasm. Well, what kind of sarcasm? E.g. Today, at the SCRUM meeting, when it was my time to report what went well, I said that I, like all the typical Bay Area Companies, am very excited to have my pull requests finally approved. Well, that's true, is not it? In one of the previous companies, after you eventually squeeze an approval out of them, you will have to thank them for the approval. Like "Thank you sir for doing your fucking job!" But it's all different here, frankly; just funny. I love it. (Until they kick me out. But I don't fucking care, really. I think this is my last job. (It actually was.) The salary is at the level of market fluctuations. On the other hand, you are always in green...)
But actually, what is it? You must always do something anyway, no?
Got distracted to my taxes and to my French bank "releves". But mostly I was working on my scripts at work. See, if you have a Mac, you, as a standard, don't use bash you use zsh, which has bugs and features, mixed. And one needs some patience with it. Just some patience. Well, and if IntelliJ had a shell plugin (it actually does have shell), that would be just cool.
By the end of the day I sent my scripts for review. They promised to help me get access to Staging (I have already merged my four pull requests, and they are already on Staging. Okay, okay, we will see.
