What was happening today? I was trying to make sure that my doc-generating scripts work with another project, and, well, nothing worked. Turned out it's all about shell scripting. I'm gradually moving functionality from scripts to Scala.
But another thing is, the format of that other project is slightly different from the previous one. Not much, but still.
So, I'm on the verge of using Zhenya's Scalameta. Almost there. But currently there was a simple solution to parse single-endpoint routers, so, no rush. Two directions: 1) use scalameta, 2) move it gradually all to Scala.
Also, I'm gradually converting it to a more serious app; before it was just an object with a `main`. Extracting classes and methods now. Basically, it's programming from scratch, I really love it a lot.
In the other thread, Capybara people answered me that it's too late to investigate the stuff that is over two weeks old, and I'll have to ask Ops to either reproduce or give me logs. Will tell Ops tomorrow. On the other hand, this case is shared with Capybara, so... so, I don't know, I'll just not rush.
Nothing else.
We had a "sprint meeting", where there were three of us, Esteban, Janet, and me. We mostly talked about life, kids, and whether punishing kids ever made sense. Janet's father was a WWII veteran, so he had strict rules for everyone. She doesn't. Then we covered the issue of "modern young people don't know how to live and behave", at which I still laugh (while I can).
And another meeting, scrum, where there were just four of us (no Janet), and we covered our issues (no issues actually), said goodbye, wished each other (Portuguese style) good weekend (which is coming soon).
And that's it for today.
