 Morning was pretty boring, and I was slacking... I was supposed to test the new endpoint on staging, and I didn't know how.

Well, ok, at least my "style improvement" was approved, so I merged it, and watched the deployment run (takes tons of time).

And then it occurred to me. I have a tool that (theoretically) runs all endpoints of a given server - generating tests scripts from the server's scala code. And it runs it on staging. So what am I waiting for?

But the state of that project was so-so, and I had to do some cleanup, find where it fails, etc. And it was failing because it could not, for some reason, configure port forwarding. Well, I posted a question on slack, and... took a break.

Oh, I created a slack channel #scala3, posted a description, a link to my old slides, and invited our small team to join. Esteban was absolutely enthusiastic, and he was very interested, and he did not join. Neither did anybody else. Ok, ok, I got it.

By the way, I'm on pager duty today, but no alarms rang.

Brad answered my question: I need another namespace. What? Never heard of namespaces. Okey-dokey... looked it up, found it in the project that was failing in port forwarding. Updated my "doc builder", to find a file that may contain the namespace. The file is not yaml, not json, it's something that looks like Scala. Ok, this makes my work easier.

Now the code starts port forwarding.

Oh, and we also had a standup, where Brad, Jeremey and Esteban were discussing some functionality of which I was clueless. I was trying to listen, but that's not how my brain works. I just could not focus. Well, whatever. Sat there and smiled.
