I returned from the doctor by 10:00.
Checked out whether my PR was approved. Partially. Bill was telling that this experimental logging won't help anything. I wrote to him that it's experimental, and I have a suspicion that an exception will be thrown. He does not know whether it will be.
Then, that "dashboard" case - I just changed the status to "waiting for review" or something. Will label as "done" on Monday.
There were three other Jira cases, all of them require more info, so I wrote. Two of them refer to logs from three weeks ago, so I wrote to them that it's hardly possible, and can we please reproduce. Meanwhile, I learned how to see history in Jira. Googled it. It's helpful, seeing the history.
At 10:30, at the standup, I was ready to talk about five cases. But nobody asked me till almost the end of the meeting, when I got a call from a doctor. So... I'd just skipped it.
Then what I was doing? Exchanging wise thoughts with Bill.
At 2:30 we had a meeting with a new, eh... employee? Definitely not an engineer. He spent 25 years in meat canning business in Missouri state, near St.Louis. Or something. But we all were happy to talk about ourselves; how our kids are doing, etc.
Then, at 3, there was a 1-1 with Mike. He's really nice. We talked mostly about life; and in the end he gave me an idea where to store documentation... and shared some ideas about good software-documenting stuff (of course done by Polish guys), and the like. I wrote down that stuff - am not I a blogger?
