 Pretty bored. In the morning I did not have anything to do at all, so I was not doing anything. 

Then we had a 2-hour scrum meeting. In the end they started talking about monads, cats, and similar shit. Asked my opinion. I told them that cats library is a parody of ScalaZ, written by the people who don't understand monads and FP, so there. Then they talked about monads, and I preferred not to interfere. Before that, they discussed the big project of standardizing all error message, placing them in a spreadsheet, in resources (spreadsheet keeping links to those resources), with content duplication, and with some explanations. Since they are not exactly aware of how that "standard error library" data structure is organized... no, I did not interfere. I participated from time to time in the discussions, but mostly I was just reading a book... Then they gave me, for the next week (or two?) a bunch of user support cases and, also, compiler problems. I love it. Seriously, no responsibility, just something nobody wants to do, so nobody pushes for it to be done asap. I need my time. Besides, I'm spoiled.

But also, I'm pretty suspicious that when my year ends, my contract will end. I'm rather tired of this nonsense... although there's nonsense all around, is not it? But the hour rate is decent (for the east coast).
