Ok, it's just 20:00, and the workday isn't finished, but...
This morning I've eventually found the right dependency version (fixing a security hole in Avro); slapped together a PR and sent for review.
Then a bot sent a bunch of PRs, so I was reviewing them and approving.
Then there was a standup, where Mike, in his disgusting voice, was asking me, how are things with this or that ops case, and asked me to update the case in Jira. Ok, sure, do I mind. Sure.
Later I saw a comment from Devon in my PR. He wrote that they did the same fix, half a day after me, and merged it. Good guys. I need some (not much) effort to get used to this kind of attitude. First: do I care? Answer: no, I don't. But I deserve a break.
After the break I got through those ops case. As many as I saw, they are either closed or redirected to another team, who accepted them.
So I just wrote some kind words.
Oh, except the one, created over a month and a half ago, where an account was created twice, and about a week and a half ago I asked, which one to delete, and the last response was: "we are still studying, which one". Good.
Seriously, and since they don't want anything from me, I'll rather spend time reading and learning French.
Not exactly, I'll open my work computer a bit later. Also, I'm waiting for my recruiter Sean's call later tonight.
