From time to time I think of writing a small dumb stupid phone app for android that would do this:
- whitelisting;
- blacklisting;
- (in my dreams):
- answer detection;
- answering machine detection;
- redialing (with a specified period);
- location display (for those who sign up)

More; group-based, time/calendar based, turning whitelists/blacklist on/off.

Oh, whatever.

а как технически отличается ответ автооответчика от "человеческого"? т.е. по какому признаку должно быть распознавание?

теоретически никак, а практически... можно типа с третьего звонка обламываться.

my moto can do blacklisting; google voice gives you black+whitelisting, both group and time based AFAIR.
