this statement regarding databases:
"you think SQL is a terribly designed language"
I think the guy is horribly wrong.
I believe sql is one of the biggest discoveries in software. The fact that this functional, declarative language killed the other two architectures (I believe you have not even heard of The Other Two), with all the, hmm, medium level people all around... I guess other functional languages should learn from it.
