talking about that self-driving accident
Mar. 21st, 2018 02:52 pmWhen I worked in Scotts Valley, and was driving in the dark on hwy 17, it was a regular entertainment to see fawns running into the road, suddenly; to make sure they stay alive, I drove in the left lane.
I know, no self-driving car company is interested in an advice of a random experienced driver. More sacrifices are needed, I guess.

Everything's too slow these days, so I went ahead and jumped to an arbitrary point on mapcrunch. Turned out to be the Western part of Norway, so I drove to Stavanger. And got lost in Stavanger, weird streets, tourists, cruise boats, etc. Then suddenly closed the tab; when I reopened it, I was in Ghana. Not interested. flipped it a couple of times, found myself in Croatia. A little bit boring, but nice. Drove east, thinking, why don't I get to Kiev. But you know what, on the border with Hungary mapcrunch stopped. No crossing! The road, D5, goes East, but I can't go there. Oops...
