- found that the PR I posted yesterday is from my fork master - how?! No clue. Have to add some checks in my scripts. Anyway, removed that, and created a meaningful branch, and sent the PR for review again. Since reviews are done by Karen, and Karen is in Tokyo, and our 1-1 with her was when it was 1AM over there, I can't expect her to review it right away, but do I care? I decided to work on my "lib" project. Some problems there too; discussed it with Karen, we decided I have to minimize it. Definitely.
- had a scrum meeting, bravely reported my progress, made Renato happy. Also discussed with him his run this weekend, and my ride this weekend (we are friends on Strava), and changing bicycle chain, etc.
- Then there was another meeting, where I did not have to say anything, so I was just playing sudoku and listening.
- Then there was a presentation by Jorge regarding a weird bug he investigated, and wrote a plan to fix it exactly by July 5th. Right after fourth of July. Ok. The problem is mostly in naming, because the code calls some id as "entityId", and what is that entity, opinions vary. It had to be 'stationId", but Chris objects, because in his view "stationId" is almost the same as "streamId", and it is "entityId" if viewed from the AWS p.o.v. I suggested to document all this. (Or wait until Chris leaves the company and unify the terminology, fuck.)
- Then we were supposed to have a 1-1 with Jacob, but he moved it to tomorrow. Ok, tomorrow. Do I mind.
