 Ok, I'm on pager duty, Karen on the plane, and we went for a walk with my wife, and the pager paged.

It turned out that in one of the services (or jobs) a bunch of requests were failing, but all we know in the logs (we had a pretty good workbook with good links) that only request ids are saved. The rest is somewhere in Dynamo, etc. So I created a jira case, and wrote some code in that project, to log the profile id, the functionality requested, and the status - big deal. It went through well, except that Mahesh already created a Jira case covering the same problem - which case was happily ignored.

Anyway, another thing is that support reports users problems with timestamps - in one place they see local time, in another they see EST. Bad, bad service, but which one?
