Still getting my small PR reviewed by the two Chinese, Karen and Qian. Qian found that there are two sample json files that my tests stopped using, so I should remove them. And he also found an unused variable in the code. Cute!
Our QA, Priyanka, reported a pretty disgusting bug, where a 500 is returned with the message "non-200 code returned from..." and then an IP address. I tried that IP address, it was also returning 500. Well. That's not how software should work.
There was a "planning meeting", of the big dept of which our dept is a part. Ok, they talked, we listened (playing sudoku, etc).
Also, wrote a doc regarding wtf is happening with those imports, push or pull, etc. Will discuss it with Karen and Jacob tomorrow, then we will see.
Basically, almost nothing else.
Went to work today. To the office. Which is 22 miles from my home, in Charlotte. Funny, right? I had no clue. Met Bobbi there, they needed my passport, to confirm that I'm legit. Stayed there in the office more than I expected, because her server was not working. So she showed me around. There are four radio stations on our floor. One was broadcasting. Shook hands with the guy that talks on another. And yet another. Saw the server room, with the hardware of the four radio stations. Cute!
That's it for today. Tomorrow I'll work.
