So they wanted me to deploy to canary, as the staging version behaved ok.
I slapped together some config for canary, then Karen pointed at the defect ("0 pods for this canary"), and I fixed it and deployed it.
Then I was looking for ways to find the logs in this canary - logging in to production was kind of questionable, and why?
It turned out eventually that we have two productions, and one has a console, but another does not. Where was it deployed? To both.
Karen told me all this, and by the end of the day I saw my graph in Prometheus. But I need an overnight graph, to see that it behaves.
That was the end of the day.
Meanwhile of course there were meetings, meetings, more meetings. At least with 1-1 that I had two, with Jacob and Karen, we did it fast, and I told them, ok, now we have some time to get some rest between meetings. And everybody was happy.
I don't know, they company pays us for bragging? How about doing some real work?
Well, whatever.
