 Nothing new. Slapping together the scripts, trying as much as I can to bypass the flakiness of Bermi's scripts and his makefile.

Also, my pr for the project on which I experiment was approved by Bill, with a bunch of pretty neat nitpicks and comments. I love this kind of attention. And he approved it, so I can send the fixes in the next PR.

What else: trying to pass around x-request-id in requests, and then go to datadog and extract the logs - but well, Bermi's scripts are sophisticated and shitty, and his Makefile is not something I want even to touch. Bermi does not want to approve, or probably even to review my fixes in his scripts. So later today I talked with Jeremey, and he does not mind if I just fork that project.

At our 1-1 Jeremey was trying to convince me that I should not discuss Jon Pretty on our work Scala channel, and I was trying to convince him that I absolutely agree. It also turns out in this company (which is large and distributed) there's a bunch of Jon's haters (and lovers of Travis, I presume), so there. Politics. At work we should cooperate, not fight.
