Spent some time reviewing those "version upgrade PRs" that bots assign to me to review. No big deal.
Then spent some time creating a test checking that `main` crashes stupidly, with no info when props are not being retrieved - or if anything ever happens in the code called somewhere in the server, the exception crashes the server.
So, I added some logging, but warned the guys at the "standup" that this is not how "functional" software should behave. Wrap and flatMap, that's what you should do.
Anyway, and at the standup Mike asked me why I did not deploy to prod that PR that I merged in March. I told them I was not aware I'm entitled to prod deployments, and I have no clue how.
So next we spent about an hour, in google meet, deploying that server, with my update of 4 months ago, to prod. I recorded all that, just in case.
It's not easy, except that Jenkins hangs, and Grafana hangs, and it's all a little bit unstable. But now I know.
So, that's it. I had closed my work computer immediately after the meeting.
