 In principle, everything is fine.

Spent some time trying to make the stuff I'm working on compile. Ended up writing a message for Devon on our slack channel. One issue was: security warning from dependabot, another was that nothing compiles, and will not, because of a strange feature in Devon's new library version. He responded privately that he's going to fix my branch with his PR. Good idea. Fixing means, probably, fixing his code. Whatever. Good.

Meanwhile, Bill goes crazy. He is trying to convince me that I have no write to add a TODO comment in the code I'm working on. I wrote to him that if he guarantees me staying with this project until the end, I can keep the records in my private files, but if not, this is a note for the next developer.

But also, he was insisting that an rng function should be wrapped in an "Effect". Ok, nie mój cyrk, let him have it. Next I'll try to avoid this crazy guy. And in any case, minimize the improvements. And be more aggressive with his PRs... if I see any. Seems like he's not developing anything, unlike Devon, who is so proliferate that I feel ashamed.

Mike wrote to me that I missed a deadline for sexual harassment training. I opened my email (I do it once a month), found a link, clicked. The page says I have two trainings missed. Which ones? Here's the link. There are about 40 tiles by that link, with suggestions to learn something (mostly, "how our company is good", "how we overcome difficult circumstances", etc). I used search, and found about a dozen links to sexual harassment courses for a variety of states. None for SC. So I wrote to them, they sent me a link to "federal sexual harassment" (it's "herasment" in Russian), and I spent about 3 hours watching Naki, reading social networks, and lazily clicking. buttons on the tutorial, "how to behave". The tutorial was pretty nice, except for the lies regarding how the company handles whistleblowers. We all know how every company in the world handles whistleblowers.

About 6 pm I opened my work computer again, checked if anybody answered. Probably nobody works after 4pm, so what's the point. Just curiosity, I guess.
