Suddenly Bill and Devon showed up at our standup. Wow, ok, sent them /remind in github - let them approve!
But generally, I'm starting to get it. This struggle of the "locals" with an alien contractor does me no harm; on the contrary. The longer it takes for them to bother to approve, the less job I have.
Won't be able to deploy this user service. Jenkins is telling me that the build crashes (with strange causes); and Mike claims that the build is ok, but deployment requires an approval. His, Mike's approval. Oh, ok, everything's fine then!
Also, I've just learned that it's not my "pager day". Ok, perfect. Then I only look at my work computer from time to time, to see if somebody writes me something. But I'm fine anyway.
Oh, and the main discovery is that if you are a contractor, all the actions of full-time employees directed to block your activities are increasing your real income (as expressed in $/h). I like it, or, in Ukrainian, менi подобаеться.
