In an hour we had a 1-1, it lasted about 10 minutes. Yes, all this shit that they wanted me to do is not needed. There are two issues. 1. Staging installation _may_ be calling the prod. 2. Cache is under suspicion (my suspicion). That cache library, in Java, introduced in the company by this weird guy, Chris Davenport... in short, everything's fine, but I've decided to check its behavior. Nobody seems to have done it.
So I tweaked the code, some refactorings here and there, and started writing the cache perf tests, and found that, well, not only a negative test for that service is missing, but the behavior of the service also sucks. So I started fixing that first.
Ok, finished it around 6:30, and tomorrow I'll add the perf tests to see how to tweak the cache params.
That's it for today, see ya tomorrow folks.
