We support a higher level of investment in the nation now to stimulate the economy, to spur job creation, and to prevent a double-dip recession. There are many areas in which the country can strategically invest to keep America globally competitive.

We advocate our “Securing the Future” economic plan to strengthen American industries and create jobs for American workers by:

Reducing long-term budget deficits to project financial stability;
Providing tax cuts to small businesses and partially backing business loans so that businesses can create new jobs;
Investing in a clean-energy economy and energy conservation;
Providing tax credits to spark manufacturing of windmills, solar panels;
Putting Americans to work rebuilding roads, bridges, rails, and ports, strengthening our economy and our infrastructure across all 50 states;
Instituting regulation waivers in approval processes when there are no regulatory concerns; and
Providing grants to train Americans in critically needed skilled labor areas.

Звучит отлично. А я только намедни в книге "Почему одни государства богатеют" прочла, что демократическая партия была образована рабовладельцами юга. Сюрпризом стало. Пора бы влить крови посвежее, похоже, в американскую политику.
