When a company thinks that they can eat your brain, because they pay you.

I detect and point to logical inconsistencies

I cannot build logical connections and I'm too lazy to try this.

the managers want 1 result at a time

to keep serfs busy.

Do you think other people understand you better?

I know this.

That is one possible explanation, and it may happen occasionally.
But the main reason for changing directions/requirements -- is that it is hard to predict what is the right thing to do until you try different approaches.

Do you really hope, the right solution is placed for you at the end of a chain of silly mistakes?

It is impossible to predict anything if you are too lazy to think.

Mistakes may or may not happen.
Usually, the best path to a good solution is "hypotheses1 -> test1 -> analysis -> hypotheses2 -> test2 -> ..." loop.

> It is impossible to predict anything if you are too lazy to think.

I agree.
But how is it relevant to our discussion?

Finding solutions to advanced math problems -- are definitely not usual for people to do.
But even in that case "hypothesis -> experiment -> analysis" loop could be a good way to go.
E.g. I may start with the hypothesis that reading about "irreducible polynomials" may help and then continue with that experiment and analysis of the results.

I'm really curious for a reason. )
And may I join to your humble request with this very well known banality from
our precious Linus Torvalds: “Talk is cheap. Show me the code.”
some other artifacts from the outstanding managerial personality as project plan samples & specs could be helpful as well.
really ready to say "WOW ! It's great" after that. lol.

yeah, that's unimaginable rudeness & unparalleled brazenness to request some preaching managers to show off some of their 'products'.

никто не давал слова, верно?

nope, you're wrong, I don't need anyone permissions to explain my thoughts
in a polite way.
or you wanna people ask you before saying something ?
it's always boring to explain my eastern brothers what freedom really is.

about your "а у Бога тоже есть пупок". you are not a God, a hypocritical atheist with some useless Scala experience and questionable understanding of the
set theory, по гамбургскому счету, right ?

you made my day btw

How do you know that other people understand you better than me?

I, at least, am able to ask questions. Others do not do even that.

Yes.

And you could think, is the question you have asked really connected to the information you want to know.

Not "that" but "this".

And I did not meant the polite form of asking but the right focus of a question.
