 A regular day.

Got up at 6:35, breakfast, a walk in the neighborhood, looking at rabbits and dogs, neither kind paying any attention to us; then we went swimming, then we had another breakfast.

Then I worked, did my french, read Vassilchikova's memoirs.

She writes that, after the coup attempt, a bunch of people were caught because the British radio stations spread a lot of information that was supposed to be secret, the names of the people, etc. The people, e.g. Adam Trott, counted on contact with the Allies, expecting the Allies to help them - but the Allies were just glad, as Churchill said, to see Germans killing other Germans. On the other hand, the Soviet radio was giving instructions to the German Proletariat to support the putsch and rise, with arms in their hands, and overthrow the capitalists.

So, they were all desperate, the good Germans.

Then I went to paint some defects on the attic walls, but eventually wound up patching the holes etc, and will paint it tomorrow.

Got an email from Circupool that they are ready to send back the module, with one part replaced; they charged me $45, for work and mailing, the part is free.

Nothing else today.

Strangely, wrote it in English.

What I noticed is that the neuropathy, from which I was suffering for years, is greatly diminishing. My blood sugar has been totally normal for more than a month. Yes, it needs control. That's what I do. But I did not expect such effects. I know that nerve cells do restore, but, well, otoh, they say neuropathy is irreversible. So we will see. The future belongs to me. Maybe.
