Here's the content, though

"Today while driving my daughter home from Girl Scouts we encountered a little white poodleish dog wandering down purple hills we stopped and called the # on the tag. The owner informed me that I should just give him a kick in the butt and he would find his way home. A woman walking by said he's out all the time. His name was Sparky and he was in pretty bad shape. Filthy dirty and smelled of urine. It bothered me that he couldn't even be bothered to come out and get his sweet if a tad ripe little dog. I haven't been able to stop thinking about the poor little thing. If I see him out again I will be taking him to animal services to let them determine if meets the requirements for neglect. If you know the owner please pass along this info in the hopes that he will keep a better eye on his pooch.
